Deep in the Adirondack Mountains, lives the Allison family. They
live just outside of a small town called Indian Lake. Fourteen-year-old Lizzy and twelve-year-old Tim are about to embark
on a canoeing trip with their father. Little do they know, that this trip will change their lives forever.
As the trip progresses, everything seems to get worse for Tim
and Lizzy, even though at some points, they think things are going their way. Events such as a canoe rollover, bear attack,
and robbery from an escaped convict test the witts and woodsman skills of both of them. With both of their individual talents
combined, they are able to overcome many of these tasks. But when will nature draw the line?
